Our Purpose

A Long-Running Ohio Web Resource
OhioBiz.com has deep roots in Ohio’s online history. Mark Geyman began building Ohio-focused web directories in the mid-1990s, including Geyman’s Northern Ohio Directory of World Wide Web Sites. OhioBiz Web Consulting and the OhioBiz search directory followed in 2000, and OhioBiz LLC was officially formed in March 2001.
Over the years, OhioBiz.com has continued to evolve from a local web directory into a statewide resource featuring Ohio businesses, organizations, communities, counties, and education-related websites.

Founded and Operated by Mark Geyman
OhioBiz.com is owned and operated by Mark Geyman of OhioBiz LLC. Mark is a Bowling Green State University graduate with a background in communications, marketing, sales, web development, education, and local online publishing. His experience includes work in cable television, two-way radio communications, web development, and teaching at Lakeland Community College and Notre Dame College.
Through OhioBiz LLC, Mark has worked with small businesses, nonprofit organizations, foundations, municipalities, and other Ohio-based organizations on web hosting, WordPress development, website security, and content maintenance.
