Akron is a city with a population of 190,469 as of 2020. It is the county seat of Summit County and the fifth-largest city in the state. Akron is known for its history of rubber and tire manufacturing and is home to the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, one of the largest tire companies in the world. Akron also has a diverse cultural scene, with attractions such as the Akron Art Museum, the Akron Zoo, the Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, and the Akron Civic Theatre.
