Carrollton has a population of about 3,200 people, according to the 2020 census. Some of the places of interest in Carrollton include the Bluebird Farm Park, which has a toy museum, a winery and a gift shop; the McCook House, which is a historic museum that was once the home of a Civil War general; and the Carroll County Courthouse, which is a historic building that dates back to 1885. The largest employers in Carrollton are the Carroll County General Health District, the Carrollton Exempted Village School District and the Carroll County Department of Job and Family Services.
