Trumbull County is a northeastern Ohio county with the city of Warren as its county seat and Niles as another significant community. The county is the western anchor of the Shenango Valley / Greater Youngstown economic region and has deep ties to steel manufacturing. Trumbull County was home to some of the most productive steel mills in America during the 20th century and has faced difficult deindustrialization. The county is the birthplace of President William McKinley in Niles. Today's major employers include Ultium Cells LLC, Packard Music Hall, AVI Food Systems and St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
